Electronic Health Records (EHR) coming soon to GPHC.
The Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) works in close partnership with a network of health centres and polyclinics to extend essential healthcare services to communities across Georgetown and its surrounding areas. These facilities provide Level 2 primary healthcare services, ensuring that patients have accessible entry points for preventative care, early diagnosis, treatment of common illnesses, maternal and child health, and referrals when higher levels of care are needed.
By being directly affiliated with GPHC, these centres maintain strong clinical and administrative linkages with the hospital, guaranteeing consistent standards of care and a smooth referral system for patients requiring advanced services. They play a critical role in strengthening community health, reducing the burden on GPHC’s main hospital, and supporting the Ministry of Health’s goal of delivering quality healthcare closer to where people live and work.
