Most outpatient clinics operate Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. However, opening hours do vary depending on the department. Emergency services are available 24/7.

How do I make an appointment?

A referral is first needed from any healthcare facility. Then, appointments can be made through clinic reception desks at for the respective service. However, the Medical Outpatient Department and the Paediatrics Clinic are on a walk-in basis.

Does GPHC provide 24-hour emergency services?

Yes. The Emergency Department is open round-the-clock for all urgent and life-threatening conditions.

How do I get admitted to GPHC?

Admission is done through the Emergency Department or via a scheduled procedure arranged by a clinic or specialist.

What should I bring if admitted?

Personal items, ID, medications, and a relative or caregiver’s contact information.

What are visiting hours?

Visiting hours vary by ward. Common hours are typically 12 PM–1 PM and 4 PM – 5 PM, and on weekends and holidays from 10 AM all day.

Does GPHC provide X-rays, CT scans, and ultrasounds?

Yes, services available upon referral.

What are my rights as a patient?

You have the right to safe care, privacy, confidentiality, informed consent, and respectful treatment.

Can a caregiver stay with me?

Typically, a caregiver is not allowed full-time with the patient. Paediatric wards typically allow one parent/guardian.

Are children allowed to visit?

Restrictions vary by department for safety reasons.

How can I request my medical records?

Submit a request to the Medical Records Department with a valid ID. Processing time may vary.
